Delaney’s Birthday Party

Impatiently Waiting

Delaney’s third birthday party was Saturday. It was a great party, but it was extremely hot!! Delaney got to spend the night at Mimi and Pop’s house the night before, and go see Winnie the Pooh before her party. She was really excited for the party to start, so she had a hard time waiting until 4:30pm. We had a little photo shoot to kill some time…

A friend from high school has started a cake ball bakery called The Cake Crumb. I ordered four dozen cake pops for the party in vanilla, chocolate, dreamsicle and strawberry. They were absolutely adorable and a huge hit at the party. Everyone loved them!!

After lots of waiting, it was finally time for the party to start! Everyone immediately got in the pool to cool off. There were lots of happy kids swimming.

After swimming, it was time for hot dogs and cake pops. I had to take a picture of this…my grandaddy sitting at the table with all the kids:)

She also got some new bedding and a TV for her new room at the new house, a play house, and a picnic table and umbrella for outside. She had a wonderful party and we were so worn out when it was over! Thanks to everyone who came!

You did a great job Erin! She’s so lucky to have such a wonderful mommy! It was so much fun. I hate we couldn’t stay longer. We had to go sweat off about 10 lbs at the Redbirds game…man it was hot!
